As all major agencies has increased the amount of fellowship like DST, DBT, UGC etc. And UGC start giving also since Dec2014. I want to know that upto when MHRD fellowship will be increased. Whether it will be increased or not. Kindly let me know as soon as possible. No. 17-2/2014- TS.1, candidates getting fellowship from MHRD have to get increased emoluments from Jan-2015, but still we are not getting it. Inspite other students having UGC-JRF start getting increased emoluments. So sir, kindly tell us how much more time it will take for increment of fellowship from MHRD grant. And what will be the increment for fellows with M.Tech Background means those who get only 4 years fellowship. Kindly reply, as soon as possible. 2716 DOHED/R/2015/60255 nil Ministry of Home affairs Website (mha1.nic.in/pdfs/oci-chart.pdf) says: OCI (Overseas Citizens of India) and PIO card holders get Prity with Non resident Indians (NRIs) in respect of economic, financial and educational fields But JEE Advanced website (jeeadv.iitb.ac.in/nationality) for admissions to IIT says: Seats allotted to foreign nationals are supernumerary 1) Kindly confirm if OCI/PIO card holders get seats allocated along with Indian students or if they will be treated as foreign nationals and allocated supernumerary seats. JEE Advanced brochure does not clarify on this point. 2) If CIO/PIO are allocated only the supernumerary seats in IITs, it seems to conflict with the policy of Ministry of Home affairs.
