Dear IIT Kanpur Team,
This is regarding the query I sent on your public emails and twitter handle couple of times in anticipation of response but did not receive any. So, I am seeking the information using the RTI act.
Background- I wanted to know about the process of opening a small food and beverage kiosk (startup) in a small area of 90-100 sqft on a rental and wanted to seek more info about the process which I could not get to know instead of contacting couple of times.
Via RTI, I need the response on the following queries:
1. The process of opening a small kiosk within IIT campus.
(I believe if Dominos or Cafe Coffee day want to enter a college/corporate campus, they do not go through tender model since these are brands with specialized services).
Similar is my model for which I need a small space. Kindly update me about the process to go ahead with same.
2. I would like to know the process followed by UrbanCrave Ola Pedal etc. to enter IITK Campus. If there was any particular tender notice issued by you, kindly refer as I could not find it anywhere in the public domain.
I believe IITK promotes entrepreneurship and support the ones who take up the plunge to startup.
Giving a small space of around 100 sqft on a rental basis would not be a big thing for IIT Kanpur management. I request you to allow me to setup my kiosk inside the campus.

QUERY NO-1.Whether the above mentioned cabinet approval have been endorsed to all IITs and specifically to IIT DELHI for its implementation.Kindly provide me the copy of the endorsement letter sent to the IITs for its implementation.
QUERY NO-2. If the above mentioned cabinet approval has not been sent to IITs for its implementation till date then provide me the bona fide & reasonable reason for the inordinate delay in endorsing the cabinet approval to IITs functioning under your administrative control.
QUERY NO-3.If it has not been endorsed till date, Provide me the expected date for the endorsement of the above cabinet approval to the IITs for its implementation who are working under your administrative control.

But IISER TIRUPATI conducted written exam as well as Interviews for Group.C office assistant multi purpose posts in Mar/Apr.2017. vide notification no 01/2017.
They replied that Final merit list prepared only based on Interview performance only and no weightage for written marks.
An reply from IISER tirupati was attached here for your kind information.
Also no one was selected from top 10 from written exam merit list as per the information provided by institute.
Even for Group.A posts the merit list will prepared on both written and Interview marks combined together.
Please clarify me is the recruitment process done as per the Govt.of India rules.
If IISER tirupati taken permission to conduct Interviews for Group.C please provide me a copy of permission letter.
Earlier I asked for permission letter for conducting interviews to IISER tirupati, DoPT but they also not giving me correct info.
If the recruitment was not done as per rules please instruct them to prepare afresh list according to Govt of India recruitment rules and gave justice to all eligible candidates.
