1) After completion of Admission formalities after round 4 of JoSAA 2015, on 28th July, 2015, how many seats are vacant in IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. 2) How is Ministry of Human Resource Development and Department of Higher Education going to fill these vacancies 3) By not allowing Surrendering Option in JoSAA 2015, deserving students did not get a chance in Rounds 3 and 4 for getting their preferred higher choices, as students who had blocked a seat had left institutions under JoSAA and got admission elsewhere of their priority. Why cannot JoSAA allow internal sliding in institutes now for those students who had opted Sliding at the time of reporting and then fill the vacant seats with a Spot Round, so that seats will not be vacant in our prestigious institutes.
